Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 June 2026. Tockra is a focus timer at tockra.com. This explains what we collect, why, and the control you have.

What we collect

  • Account— when you sign in with Google (or an email link), we receive your email address and basic profile (name, avatar). That's how your focus history follows you across devices.
  • Focus data — the sessions you run, the task/project labels you give them, and your settings. Stored so your timer, history, and garden sync.
  • Google Tasks (only if you connect it) — if you choose “Connect Google Tasks,” Tockra reads your task lists and tasks to show them, and can add or complete tasks at your request. You can disconnect at any time. We never touch any other Google data.

How we use it

Only to run the product for you: the timer, cross-device sync, the opt-in community board, and the Google Tasks features you turn on. We do not sell your data, show ads, or use it to train AI models.

Google user data — Limited Use

Tockra's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Your Google Tasks data is used only to provide and improve the in-app task features you enable, is never sold or transferred to others except as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and is never used for advertising.

Where it's stored

Account and focus data live in our database (Supabase), protected by row-level security so each person can only reach their own. Your Google access token is held only in your own browser to make the Tasks calls you ask for; it is not stored on our servers.

Your control

  • Disconnect Google Tasks in Tockra at any time.
  • Revoke Tockra's Google access entirely at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
  • Ask us to delete your account and data — email privacy@tockra.com.
